WICHITA, Kan. – LJ McDonough fired six innings of one-run baseball, and the Yellow Team clinched Fall World Series with a 5-1 win over the Black Team on Friday afternoon at Eck Stadium. Yellow has won three of the first four games, with only Saturday's game five still to be played.
McDonough held the Black Team in check through the first five innings, eventually allowing a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth for the only blemish on his line score. The right-hander struck out four and did not issue a walk, allowing just three hits.
