WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State softball team will be hosting its second annual Retinal Blindness Awareness Game on Saturday, April 16 against Bradley.
Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during first game of the double-header. The auction will end after the last inning of the first game.
Special edition blue t-shirts will be sold for $5 throughout the entirety of both games. Proceeds will go to the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation.
"Retinal Blindness is a rare disease with very little funding to find a cure," head coach Kristi Bredbenner said. "Shocker Softball is excited to team up with the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation for the second year in a row.
