Laramie, Wyo -- The Wichita State volleyball team rallied from a two-sets-to-one deficit to knock off Iowa State in the final game of the Rumble in the Rockies on Saturday afternoon at the UniWyo Sports Complex. The Shockers were victorious 21-25, 25-21, 25-27, 25-23, 15-10.
It was the first win over Iowa State in program history, as the Shockers were winless in each of the previous 11 contests against the Cyclones.
Wichita State (2-1) had just let a late lead slip away in the third set, putting them in a 2-1 hole against the preseason number three-ranked team out of the Big 12.
