Wichita State dominated the multi-events on the second day of the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
Sophomore Hunter Veith won the decathlon, leading the Shockers to the top five spots. Junior Breanne Borman won the heptathlon and the Shockers claimed five of the top six spots.
Veith, from Cheney, totaled 6,998 points and added the title to his 2015 MVC indoor heptathlon crown. WSU freshman Ben Johnson finished second with 6,629 points, followed by Kyle Troxler (6,335), Seth Buck (6,232) and John Nicholas (6,207).
On Friday, Veith won the high jump (6 feet, 8 inches).
