WICHITA, Kan. – After a 4-4 start to the 2025 season, the Wichita State women's tennis team has been ranked No. 65 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in the first ITA Top 75 computer ranking of the year.
This is the earliest the Shockers have appeared in the ITA Computer Rankings in a season since 2017, when they were ranked No. 35 on February 21, 2017.
Wichita State earned the ranking on the back of a three-match long win streak, which was most recently extended with a win over Kentucky on February 7. The Wildcats are also in the rankings, just behind WSU at No.
