WICHITA, Kan. – After a 3-0 week that saw them take down two ranked opponents, the Wichita State women's tennis team was ranked No. 47 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) computer rankings on Tuesday morning.
The No. 47 ranking for the Shockers is the highest the team has been ranked since March 19, 2019, when they were ranked No. 44. The previous high for the team since 2019 was No. 55, which came last season on March 19.
Among the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers sit in as the third highest ranked team behind Florida Atlantic (27) and Rice (42).
