SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Wichita State women's golf team is currently in fourth place after the first two rounds of the Payne Stewart Memorial, with American Athletic Conference opponent Memphis and UTEP in a tie for first. Three Shockers are currently in the top 25, with junior Michelle Ledermann being in a tie for 17th as an individual after hitting 76 and 74.
Senior Laine Evans leads the Shockers through the first two rounds after hitting just two over par through 36 holes, putting her in a tie for eighth. Senior Gavrilla Arya is currently tied for 12th after compiling a score of 148, hitting three over par in the first two rounds.
