JOPLIN, Mo. – The Shocker women's team finished 11th at the 29th Annual Missouri Southern Stampede Saturday morning.
Despite the majority of the cross country program resting this week, the women's team sent seven student-athletes and the men's team entered Ethan Kossover in the 29th Annual Missouri Southern Stampede.
The women competing with seven athletes, entered four freshmen, two sophomores and one senior. Making her Shocker debut, true freshman Halle Johnson led the group to an 11th place team finish. The Bennington, Kan., native finished the 5K course 30th overall with a time of 18:34.
