BELLEAIR, Fla. – Led by junior Michael Winslow, Wichita State men's golf team put together their best finish in team history at the American Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon with a third-place team finish.
The third-place finish for the Shockers breaks the previous team best finish of fourth place at the AAC Championship, which came in 2021. The Shockers finished with a team score of 842, just two strokes over-par. The South Florida Bulls won the team trophy at 12 strokes under-par and the South Florida's Jake Peacock ran away with the individual title at 11 strokes under-par, five strokes ahead of second place.
