Wichita State's Landry Shamet has received a full invitation to attend the NBA Draft Combine, he confirmed to the Eagle on Monday.
The combine invitation shows the NBA has significant interest in Shamet, as the invitations are selected based on feedback from NBA teams. The combine, which will be held in Chicago from May 16-20, will feature five-on-five games, as well as strength and agility drills, interviews, and medical testing.
Shamet, a 21-year-old from Kansas City, averaged a team-best 14.9 points and 5.2 assists, while making 44 percent of his three-pointers during his sophomore season at Wichita State.
