Jamarius Burton, a 6-foot-5 guard from Charlotte, N.C., is the latest 2018 recruit to pick Wichita State.
It was another recruiting victory for WSU coach Gregg Marshall, who beat Butler, Massachusetts and Temple for the services of the three-star recruit. Burton joins Dexter Dennis as the second WSU recruit in the spring signing period and the seventh overall in its 2018 recruiting class.
"I made a list of pros and cons, and the university that filled out all of the boxes is what I ended up choosing," Burton said following his commitment.
Although WSU didn't start recruiting Burton until April, he was convinced by the resume of Marshall and meeting the coach on his official visit in Wichita on Tuesday and Wednesday.
