Details on Wichita State’s closed scrimmage later this month have emerged, according to a list compiled by Jeff Goodman at Stadium, and Shocker fans will be excited to learn it’s a familiar opponent from the Big 12.
Wichita State will host Oklahoma State in a closed scrimmage at Koch Arena on Sunday, October 21. The teams recently completed a home-and-home series with the Cowboys beating WSU at Intrust Bank Arena, 93-76, in the 2016-17 season and the Shockers winning in Stillwater, 78-66, last December.
Only one player — Samajae Haynes-Jones and his two minutes of action — return to WSU this season who played in last year’s game at OSU.
