WICHITA – Wichita State track and field will honor its 12 seniors at the final home meet of the outdoor season Friday at the Shocker Open in Cessna Stadium.
The Shocker Open serves as one last tune up before the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, which begin Friday, May 10 in San Antonio, Texas.
Wichita State will host athletes from Kansas State, Nebraska, Langston, Neosho County CC, Oklahoma Panhandle State and State Fair CC.
Field events begin at 1 p.m., and the team will recognize the seniors at 5 p.m. prior to the start of the running events.
