Wichita State returned to its comfortable surroundings and its comfortable way of winning on Tuesday in a 98-69 win over Nevada.
The Shockers (6-5) won their 37th straight home game and 36th straight home non-conference game with a record night at the foul line and an efficient, low-turnover game. WSU went 44 of 62 from the line, setting a record for free throws made and tying the mark for attempts.
Nevada (8-4) entered the game with excellent defensive statistics, compiled against a weak schedule that included two NCAA Division II victories. The Wolf Pack departed Koch Arena with three technical fouls and three players fouled out.
