Tuesday’s game ended a four-season contract between Wichita State and Saint Louis. While it started with great promise, the Shockers dominated the series renewal and punctuated it with a 75-45 win at Koch Arena.
WSU coach Gregg Marshall wants to keep playing the Billikens. The geography works and there’s hope that Saint Louis coach Travis Ford, in his first season after eight at Oklahoma State, will recruit the Billikens back to prominence.
