Wichita State has hired Mike Steele, formerly of Long Beach State, as its pitching coach.
“Mike has done an incredible job the last two years at Long Beach State,” WSU coach Todd Butler said in a new release. “The fact that Mike has coached at both the collegiate and professional levels will make an immediate impact to our pitchers and program. Mike has worked with not only some of the best college arms, but also some of the best up and coming pitchers in Major League Baseball.”
