Wichita State is the No. 1 seed in the Missouri Valley Conference men’s and women’s tournaments, both which begin Friday at the Coleman Tennis Complex.
The WSU women (24-3, 7-0 MVC) won their eighth consecutive MVC regular-season title on Saturday with wins over Evansville and Southern Illinois. WSU opens the women’s tournament against eighth-seeded Evansville at 9 a.m. Friday.
