WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State softball and head coach Kristi Bredbenner announced the 2021 spring schedule, highlighted by 19 home dates.
Wichita State kicks off the slate next weekend at the Maverick Classic in Arlington, Texas with games against Arkansas, Abilene Christian, Texas State and UT Arlington. The Shockers' home opener will see the Creighton Bluejays come to Wilkins Stadium for three games in two days (Feb. 27-28). The matchup with Creighton will be Wichita State's first home games since May 5, 2019 after the 2020 season was cut short.
The Shockers then head right back to Arlington for the 2nd Boerner Invitational (March 5-7) before hosting South Dakota State for a doubleheader on March 9.
