SAN ANTONIO, Texas – UTSA ran past Wichita State in the fourth quarter as the Shockers dropped their second-straight conference game, 74-60, in the Convocation Center.
UTSA's Elyssa Coleman tallied 32 points and 19 rebounds as the Roadrunners (7-7, 1-2 AAC) picked up their first conference win.
UTSA opened the game on a 10-0 run as Wichita State shot 0-for-11 in the first six minutes. The Roadrunners took a 19-8 lead after the first quarter, but a spark from off the bench brought the Shockers (5-10, 1-2 AAC) within three, going into the half down 33-30.
