WICHITA, Kan. – As Wichita State slowly increases capacity at Charles Koch Arena, more security measures will be added including metal detectors and clear bag policy starting with the January 30 doubleheader.
Metal detectors will be used at all entrances for all men's basketball games. Fans are encouraged to arrive early in order to be in their seats by tipoff. Prior to going through the detector, fans will need to empty pockets, including keys and phones.
The clear bag policy will be in effect for all Wichita State Athletic events and will speed up the entry process into the venue, improve security and limit touch points.
