TULSA, Okla. – Behind a fourth quarter rally, Tulsa handed Wichita State its first conference loss of the season, 70-63, Wednesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
Wichita State (11-4, 1-1) was outscored by 14 in the fourth quarter, 28-14, and has now dropped its last four meetings against the Golden Hurricane.
Trajata Colbert recorded her fifth straight game in double figures with 11 points and nine rebounds. DJ McCarty added 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. Jane Asinde came up just shy of a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds, while also dishing three assists and swiping three steals.
