WICHITA—Three Wichita State athletes were chosen for the prestigious NCAA Leadership Development – Career in Sports Forum, it was announced Friday.
Rebekah Topham and Emily Gardiner of the women's track and field team and Marius Frosa of the men's tennis team were selected for the event.
Despite the Career in Sports Forum's in-person event being canceled, these three Shockers still have the opportunity to virtually learn about leadership and professional development specifically for a career in intercollegiate athletics.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Wichita State student-athletes will participate in the event.
