COLLEGE STATION, Texas—The Wichita State track and field team had three representatives on the women's first day of competition at the NCAA West Regional on Thursday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said he was proud of all three athletes who competed for the Shockers.
"This is a really tough meet and our athletes today were on this stage for the first time," Rainbolt said. "I was proud of each of them. It's a tough competition to qualify for and I thought they represented us extremely well.
