WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field team opens their indoor campaign at home with the Shocker Multi women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon Wednesday and Thursday.
"This meet is all about mastering the process," head coach Steve Rainbolt said. "They'll be experiencing what you experience at an indoor championship where you compete in a pentathlon or heptathlon and then come back the next day and compete in another event (final day of Intrasquad on Friday)."
The Shocker Multi will be the first of three indoor multi-event competitions and is the first opportunity for the newcomers to compete in a Shocker uniform.
