WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State sophomore designated hitter/left-handed pitcher Payton Tolle has been named Second Team All-American utility player by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Paired with Brock Rodden's selection as a Collegiate Baseball Third Team All-American on June 1, Wichita State finishes with multiple All-Americans in a season for the first time since 2011, when catcher Chris O'Brien and left-handed pitcher Charlie Lowell were recognized.

Tolle was named First Team All-Central Region and First Team All-American Athletic Conference utility player after a breakout season as Wichita State's Saturday starter and designated hitter.
