Wichita State University baseball will host the annual First Pitch Banquet on Saturday, February 1, in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Center at Charles Koch Arena. Headlining the event is keynote speaker Mike Sweeney, a 16-year Major Leaguer who is a member of the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame and the father of Wichita State signee MJ Sweeney.
The event begins with a social hour at 5:30 PM, followed by a prize drawing, player introductions, Q/A session with Shocker broadcaster Mike Kennedy, and 2025 season preview from head coach Brian Green and his staff.
Tickets are $30 or $250 for a reserved table of eight.
