WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State Athletics has announced details for this year's Shocker Madness event set for Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m., inside Charles Koch Arena. This year's Shocker Madness event once again serves as the culmination of Wichita State's Shocktoberfest homecoming week.
The season tip-off event will include the addition of a Brew Garden & Fan Fest outside of Charles Koch Arena from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. through a partnership with the Wichita State University Foundation & Alumni Engagement Office. The Brew Garden & Fan Fest will feature music provided by DJ Carbon, food trucks, local vendors serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a massive LED screen showing featured college football games, a pep rally with Shocker Sound Machine and WSU spirit squads and other tailgate activities in a family-friendly atmosphere.
