WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State freshman outfielder Bailee Nickerson was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after an impressive batting performance against Tennessee Tech at the Plainsman Invite in Auburn, Ala.
The Paris, Texas, native hit over .300 on the Shockers 2-2 weekend that included four hits, three runs, two home runs, three walks, five RBI's and a slugging percentage of .900.
This is the first honor roll nod of Nickerson's career and the first for Wichita State in the American Athletic Conference.
