LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kendra Henry and the men's 4x800m came away with event titles, while multiple Shockers advanced to Saturday's finals, in day three action of the 92nd Kansas Relays Friday, April 19, at Rock Chalk Park.
The men's 4x800m relay team of Jason Landon, Zack Penrod, Connor Stine and Jed Helker recorded the Shockers' first event title at the 92nd Kansas Relays. The quartet combined to win the race with a time of 7:50.37, a full second faster than Cloud County Community College.
Kendra Henry recorded the second event title of the day for Wichita State winning the javelin on her first attempt with a throw of 42.
