OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Wichita State University senior right-handed pitcher Preston Snavely has been named a candidate for the 2021 Senior CLASS Award.
An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
Snavely, a native of Fort Collins, Colo., is 3-1 and has a 3.35 ERA in seven appearances and starts on the mound this season. He has only allowed 14 earned runs on 32 hits with 30 strikeouts in 37 2/3 innings of work going into the Shockers' four-game series at Tulane April 16-18.
