WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State rode a complete game performance from to a 7-2 win over the North Texas Mean Green on Saturday afternoon at Wilkins Stadium.
The Shockers (12-13, 1-4) evened the series with North Texas (19-8, 2-3) with the victory.
For the first time this season, Wichita State scored first against a conference opponent, as scored on a sacrifice fly from , sneaking underneath the tag at home to give the Shockers a 1-0 lead.
North Texas tied the game right back up with a two-out rally that squeaked a run across in the top of the third.
