Shooting Woes Drop Shockers to 0-3 in League Play

WICHITA, Kan. – Another rough night on the offensive end dropped Wichita State to 0-3 to begin American Athletic Conference play, falling to Memphis 71-50 Saturday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.

Wichita State (7-9, 0-3) converted on only 2-of-27 attempts from beyond the arc for a season low 7 percent and finished at just 28 percent overall to go with 25 turnovers. Memphis shot 41 percent from the field.

Jaida Hampton was the lone Shocker in double-figures with 10 points, despite shooting 4-of-16 from the floor. Raven Prince added nine points and Seraphine Bastin pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds.
