Shockers Win Three Titles to Wrap Up AAC Indoor Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Shockers claimed three event titles, one meet record and one school record on the final day of the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

After taking second in the pentathlon on day one, Destiny Masters opened day two with a season-best high jump clearance of 1.83m/6'0" to win back-to-back AAC indoor high jump titles. She is the first Shocker since J'Lynn Ledesma in 2012 and 2013 (MVC) to win back-to-back women's indoor conference high jump titles.

Hudson Bailey won the second title of the day, winning the heptathlon with 5,295 points.
