CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Wichita State won the fourth Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title in school history with a 3-1 win over Missouri State. The Shockers won by scores of 31-29, 25-19, 26-28 and 25-23.
Tabitha Brown led the Shockers with 18 kills, while Jody Larson had 16 kills and 16 digs and Mikaela Raudsepp had 14 kills. Emily Hiebert had 55 assists and 16 digs and Dani Mostrom had a match-high 23 digs. Larson earned Tournament MVP honors, while Brown and Hiebert were named to the all-tournament team.
