JONESBORO, Ark. -- Wichita State knocked off the #1, #2 and #3-ranked teams in the country on Sunday to win the 2025 Mid-Winter Invitational at Hijinx Family Entertainment Center.
The tournament win is Wichita State's second of the spring after claiming the Columbia 300 Saints Invite on February 2.
The Shockers (60-28) entered bracket play seeded fourth after an up-and-down first two days that saw Wichita State go 4-5. Facing off against the nation's #1 team in Nebraska to open the bracket, WSU took the first two games but dropped the next three to fall behind, 3-2.
