WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State won a combined 15 events to sweep the Shocker Prelude, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 19, inside the Heskett Center.
The Wichita State men's team won with a total of 180.5 points, while the women took the title with 179 points. Seven men combined to win a total of eight events, including a Cory Martens sweep in the throws. The women's team won seven individual events, including an Alex Adams Shocker all-time top-10 performance in the weight throw.
The Shockers finished two in the top-3 in a combined 13 events, including 1-2-3-4-5 finishes in both the men's and women's mile races.
