HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Hawaii got an infield single in the bottom of the 10th inning from Elijah Ickes to walk off Wichita State 4-3 in the series opener on Thursday night as Les Murakami Stadium.
The Rainbow Warriors (5-0) picked up their third walk-off victory in the season's first five games and extended the nation's longest active home winning streak to 16 games.
The walk-off capped off a wild, back-and-forth game in which the Shockers (1-3) committed four errors, including three on errant pickoff throws, but rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the top of the eighth to send the game to extras.
