MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Wichita State grabbed an early 3-0 lead and led 3-2 entering the bottom of the eighth, but Kansas State scored four times in the inning to rally for a 6-3 win on Wednesday night at Tointon Family Stadium.
The Shockers (19-15) struck for a run in the second and two in the third against Kansas State starter Mason Buss, getting a sacrifice fly from , an RBI fielder's choice from and a run-scoring double from that made it 3-0. But Wichita State did not score over the next six innings against the Kansas State bullpen.
