Originally the Shockers were scheduled to compete in Norman, Okla., at the John Jacobs Invitational. "We had to decide to not go to Oklahoma on Saturday," said head track and field directory Steve Rainbolt. "We pulled the trigger and made the decision when the forecast was 80% chance of thunderstorms and after we pulled that trigger it went to 90%.
