WICHITA, Kan. – Playing their first home match in almost a month, the Wichita State men's tennis team was swept 4-0 by the 72nd ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Monday afternoon at Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
With the loss, the Shockers (4-17) fall to 0-5 against American Athletic Conference opponents this season and Tulsa (10-11) collects their third straight win.
The Golden Hurricane swept through the Shockers in doubles, picking up the point swiftly with a 6-1 win over and at court three, and a 6-3 win over and at court one.
Singles was closer than the final score would indicate, but Tulsa managed to complete the April Fools' Day sweep of the Shockers.
