WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State women's tennis team remains unbeaten at home after a 7-0 sweep of South Dakota, Friday afternoon at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
"There were a lot of positives to take from today," head coach Colin Foster said. "We were pushed to the limit by South Dakota last year but won convincingly today, which shows our upward trajectory."
WSU (8-8) won the doubles point and swept all six singles matches – five of them in straight sets – to improve to 5-0 in Wichita.
"Last week we had some close matches that didn't quite fall our way, so it was important to get everyone in the win column today," Foster said.
