WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State finally got a bounce to go its way. The Shockers survived an overtime battle with Tulane on Senior Night, defeating the Green Wave, 84-83.
Wichita State (14-15, 5-11) snapped a three-game losing streak and Tulane's nine-game win streak in the process.
The Shockers led by one in the final seconds of overtime and needed an Arsula Clark offensive rebound and putback layup to roll off the rim to escape with tight win on Senior Night.
Asia Strong scored a game and season-high 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting in her home finale.
