The Wichita State tennis team finished a weekend Texas tour with a 4-0 dual loss to UT Arlington on Sunday afternoon.
The host Mavericks (11-1) won a close doubles point and put three quick singles wins on the board to clinch the match. Three other singles contests went unfinished, including No. 1 singles where WSU's held a second-set lead.
"The doubles points were critical this weekend," head coach said. "We've had a good doubles tradition over the years, but we have some things to work on. We'll address those shortcomings and try to turn around some of these results.
