WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State held Oklahoma to a .041 hitting percentage, including three sets below .000, as the Shockers rallied for a 25-12, 20-25, 23-25, 25-11, 15-9 exhibition win on Thursday night at Charles Koch Arena.
The Shockers forced the Sooners into 37 attack errors for the match, including 10 in the fourth set alone. Wichita State did not trail in the fourth, racing out to a quick 9-3 lead that eventually ballooned to 23-8. WSU notched a match-best four blocks in the frame and got three aces, two from setter . After clinching the fourth set to even up the match at 2-2, the Shockers seized command of set five with a 4-0 burst out of the gate.
