Shockers Start Practice for 2016 Season

WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State baseball team opened its first day of spring practice Fri., Jan. 29 at Eck Stadium.

WSU returns six starters from last year's squad, including seniors Ryan Tinkham, Mikel Mucha, Chase Rader, and Tanner Kirk and sophomores Gunnar Troutwine and Trey Vickers. The Shockers also return starting pitchers Sam Tewes, Willie Schwanke, and Chase Williams.

Fans have an opportunity to meet the 2016 team at the annual First Pitch Banquet on Thurs.
