TEMPE, Ariz. – The Wichita State men's tennis team split its doubleheader, sweeping Bryant, 5-0, and falling to Arizona State, 4-1, Sunday at the Kiwanis Tennis Center.
"Good matches today and overall this week," head coach Darragh Glavin said. "We got better each match we played."
Alejandro Jacome went undefeated in singles in his Shocker debut weekend, collecting three wins at court four and one at three, just over a week after moving to Wichita.
"Alejandro going 4-0 in singles in his first weekend of college tennis against tough opponents was great to see," Glavin said.
