WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis went 1-1 by beating Kansas City, 4-0, and losing to SMU, 4-0, at the Wichita Country Club on Thursday.

The Mustangs jumped out to leads on both court one and court three. No. 28 and were unable to hold off SMU's Nylander/Tcherkes Zade and fell, 6-2. An identical score was on court three and the Shocker duo of and Ting-ya Hsu were forced to go unfinished.
Singles
Kong got her second start of the season on court one, but she was unable to duplicate her success and fell to SMU's Nylander, 6-2, 6-3.
