Shockers shoot 2-27 from three, give up 25 turnovers in loss

The Memphis Tigers didn’t leave much of an opening for Wichita State, who was in pursuit of their first conference win.

Memphis won the game in blowout fashion, 71-50.

“We’ve got some basketball problems,” WSU head coach Keitha Adams said.

Adams pointed out that turnovers, rebounding, and shooting are all issues plaguing the program.

WSU was 17-70 from the field. From three, they made a mere two shots of their 27 attempts.
