WICHITA, Kan. – No. 48 Wichita State is slated to compete in the San Joaquin Invitational in Fresno, California, Feb. 29 and March 1 where they will be in a field that includes Fresno State, Nevada, San Francisco, Gonzaga, Lamar, Hawaii, and Pacific.
The Shockers first match will be Saturday against Pacific at 11 a.m. CT at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. If they win, they will go on to play either Hawaii or San Francisco in the same location at 4 p.m. CT, but if a Shocker loss were to occur, they would face the loser of the Hawaii versus San Francisco match at the Copper River Country Club at 4 p.
