DALLAS, Texas – The Wichita State men's tennis team sent two doubles teams to the quarterfinals at the Ralston/Neufield Coaches Challenge on Friday.
The No. 5 ranked duo of Marius Frosa and Murkel Dellien cruised to an 8-0 victory over a doubles team that combined athletes from both SMU and Baylor, while Rafael Serra and Stefan Latinovic won a battle against the seventh seeded pairing of Bill Duo and Thomas Bosancic from Princeton, 8-4.
Four Shockers also found success in singles on the first day of the tournament with Orel Ovil, Frosa, Latinovic, and Dellien all claiming victories in their day one matches.
